The Poteet Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1947. It is located in the City of Poteet in  Atascosa County. The P.V.F.D. is a 100% volunteer organization. In addition to responding to fires, vehicle accidents, public service, we are trained to handle a variety of other emergencies.
